The roll archive is continuously expanded. For each roll there is an image file of the scan, a midi file with track data, a midi file with emulated dynamics, an mp3 file of the emulation (created with PianoTeq Pro) and usually images of the box and roll labels.
Important note about the emulated midi data: These are designed for scientific purposes and use the maximum dynamic range of so-called high-resolution midi files (1-16838). Therefore, they cannot be played back on a Disklavier without prior processing! The use a virtual piano software is recommended, which contains an adjustable velocity curve (e.g. PianoTeq).
The metadata are recorded based on the model of the Deutsches Museum Munich and the information from the Welte-Mignon catalog by Hans-W. Schmitz and Gerhard Dangel.
Note: You can also use the category filter under "Show" to search for specific roles and to specify them with the help of the search.
